Happy Halloween

Pic 1: Within 2 minutes of walking into the office, this picture was snapped by a fellow co-worker and e-mailed to everybody on site. I got laughs, weird looks, questions ("isn't Halloween on Monday?") and nothing done. I was indeed the only one who dressed up. I'm not sure if it helped or hurt my career -- probably neither, the plant manager liked it. The bottom line is that it was a fun day at the office. For once.
Pic 2: Taken outside the plant by Gary. A few construction workers were working nearby and laughed, then yelled at us "Who are you guys?" We yelled back, "We're the accountants!"
I wore the hat that night to Friday's for dinner with Lori and I'm going to do it more often. The waitresses are nicer to you if you look like an idiot. In fact, every once in a while I may just show up at work in this outfit.
As for the rest of the weekend. Today I did yard work, putzed-around and studied for the GMAT, which I take in a couple weeks. Tomorrow I have to work.
Happy Halloween.
P.S. DECEMBERISTS tracklisting I sent to Brett:

Oh, and I watched the FAMILY GUY movie and thought it was pretty good. About as funny as any average episode this season. Nothing side-splittingly funny, though. The relentless focus on Stewie has its benefits -- love it when he clubs a man for not buying his lemonade -- but Peter has always been the best character. The first part of the movie is about how ge gets his own news segment called "Grinds My Gears," but after that's done he's pretty much out of the picture. The show's called "Family Guy," not "Stewie Griffin." 3/5.

Sweet. Thanks for the CDs. I'm in Colorado right now, but I'll be back in Austin on the 17th off November, so the wait won't be too long for my quasi-irish folkish-indie rock lovefest.
mmmmmm
I meant of. Dammit.
Unbelievable. That costume surpassed all expectations. Nice going, Matt.
Thanks for the birthday phone call too, champ! :)
I am still expecting more of a reaction from you concerning the music that I so generously bequeathed upon your stalefaced auriculars. "I kinda like the Kinks" isn't enough, me boy.
