Family Guy vomit, CD mixes
I'm positive I wasn't the only viewer who doubled over in laughter during the vomit scene in tonight's "Family Guy." I swear I nearly pissed myself when Peter started holding Brian's ears. And, yes, the "X-Men Convention" gag hit a little too close to home, as did Stewie's "Strokes" line.
By the way, here are the mixes I put together for my dad. The first three were restricted to the CDs he gave me (all classic rock), but the fourth is a mix of new music that I think he'll like (given his classic rock tastes). For the Classic Mixes, I tried to intersperse obvious hits with songs that get less airplay on the local rock station. This means instead of "Purple Haze," he gets "Stone Free," and instead of "Won't Get Fooled Again," he gets "The Seeker."

So far, feedback from him is good. Considering these are my first CD mixes EVER, it was surprisingly difficult to decide not only which of my 2,000 songs he would like, but also their order. I don't know how peterik does it.

yes indeed... i laughed harder than i can remember laughing in a long time during the vomit scene. i can only imagine watching that while you aren't laughing... it would go on far too long. but as it was, i just kept laughing harder and harder. best episode i've seen in awhile.
