Sunday Monday

On Sunday night I went out bowling with Lori and Brian. It was duck-pin bowling, which I like a lot more than regular bowling because the balls are smaller and don't hurt my arm. I scored the highest in the last game (97!) and we celebrated my victory with a few drinks. I've gotta expand my taste in alcohol beyond Rolling Rock. It's pathetic. Unfortunately, not too many places in New Hampshire seem to carry Yuengling, which would be my next (safe) choice. Is there an alcoholic version of ginger ale I don't know about?

On Monday I went to the 'rents house for typical Memorial Day food: hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, and corn on the cob. We were going to grill out on my deck, but the erratic thunderstorms made that impossible. Nature is evil.

I watched half of "The Aviator" at some point, and then "September Tapes," which was ok. It's a fake documentary in the vein of "Blair Witch" about a guy who goes to Afghanistan to find Osama bin Laden. It was shot on location in Afghanistan and features encounters with real terrorist elements, so it had the potential to be realistic. Unfortunately, the tension is undermined by bad acting and unlikely plot developments (the lead character ends up in a firefight on the Pakistani border). 2.5/5.

Oh, and I got my first jehovah's witnesses. Well, they weren't jehovah's witnesses, they were from The Church of Latter Day Saints. There were 3 of them and, well...how do I say this without sounding like a creep? They were kinda hot. They appeared to be 18 years old, but what can I say, they were cute. I was like "Hmm, maybe I DO need saved."

You know, I don't think anyone has quite cornered the market on Jehovah's Witness porn yet. You should definitely pitch that idea to a distributor. It could be a good second income.
